Make learning fun with the Roll and Cover Game, perfect for Stage 1, junior and senior infants! This versatile game can be played solo or with a partner. Players take turns rolling a dice and placing a counter on an item in a 5×5 grid that matches the shape and number rolled. The grid is filled with everyday items in four 2D shapes: circle, rectangle, square, and triangle. Each shape has an assigned dice number, and there’s also a free pick space. For example, if a player rolls a 1, they place a counter on any square item in the grid. If they roll the free pick, they can choose any item. Incorrectly identifying a shape means losing that turn. The game ends when the board is full or a player gets four or five in a row. If playing solo, the goal is to fill the board as quickly as possible. If no shapes are left to place a counter on, the player skips their turn.
